Editorial Product Review: :Rubbish collector and amateur inventor Artie Pinsetter (Lou Costello) hopes that someday one of his inventions will make him wealthy and important enough for him to marry his sweetheart Emmy Lou (Dorothy Provine). After one of his creations, a portable computer named Max, tells Emmy Lou that Artie cannot marry her, she runs off into a smoky canyon and starts to grow. Artie seeks help from Emmy's uncle (Gale Gordon) who misunderstands Artie and thinks she is 'big' with child. He sends the justice of the peace to marry the ...
Editorial Product Review: essential video:Among the earliest writers to set his sights on the director's chair, Preston Sturges brought a frank, unsentimental view of the war between the sexes to his mid-'40s features that exemplify his style, as demonstrated in this prescient 1942 gem. Architect Tom Jeffers (Joel McCrea) and his wife, Gerry (Claudette Colbert), further refine the archetypal Sturges couple--the male embodying strength, idealism, and a certain naivete, the female ultimately stronger, smarter, and (as revealed early on in an astonishing speech by Colbert) clearer-eyed and more pragmatic about the subtext ...

Editorial Product Review: :Second Chorus has one little gem of a moment that has found its way into many Fred Astaire highlight reels. The rest of the movie is not as enticing. Astaire and Burgess Meredith portray trumpet players vying for a spot in Artie Shaw's orchestra and for the affections of Goddard. The interplay among the three stars has ...

Usually we're fans of Logitech's gaming mice, but its highest-end G9 Laser Mouse is expensive, overly complex, and lacks the ergonomic thought we've come to expect. If you like to brag about dot-per-inch limits, perhaps the G9's 3,200dpi laser will be enough to sell you, but for the price, we expect the design to match.
