A little to like, and not like....
The cinematography is pretty good in this movie. The talking cat is not. The lead actress does a nice job. The story line does not make much sense. The sea spiders are cool. The "back from the dead" mom is creepy. And the end of the movie leaves you scratching your head. There are some pretty tense suspenseful momments in the film. Hmmmm 2.5 stars

Interesting, but also confusing!
The movie does come off at times creepy, but yet also confusung at times as well. Radha Mitchell does a very solid job acting in the movie just as she did in When Strangers Appear. But the problem I have with the movie is how it ends. You are left with really no idea if the things she incountered were ghosts, spider sea-creatures who could transform into people and their fears, or if it maybe was just her mind playing tricks on her. Still though a decent creepy little flick to watch. 3 out of 5.

Not that bad
Yes, this is a rip-off of "Dead Calm", but it's still a decent movie. The acting is good, and the story keeps you interested and quessing (although I thought the ending was weak). I've seen a LOT worse titles than this! 3.5 to 4 stars

BRAIN DAMAGE
Nonsensical imbecility balderdash. Ever since the success of Dead Calm, you have had cheap immations emerge on the scene, well this is just another one. Add a sailboat, the ocean, and a pretty woman, alone at sea, and there you have it. But, let's throw in some ghosts also. Well at least the box was intriguing. That's the whole trick, make the box more exciting then the contents. Remember, don't judge a book my it's cover.
